Well, I figured it's about
time for a revival, and what better way to start than with
the 2004/2005 Oscars?
For those who were not here
last year, the Oscars give you a chance to vote for the players
you like and dislike. The players you think pwn and the players
you think suck. This year I have also added a miscellaneous
section that gives you a chance to vote for other things such
as the best town, pvm area and so on. It gives all of us a
chance to see how things are on the shard and how we want
them to be.
There's pretty much only one
rule concerned with the oscars: You cannot vote for yourself.
Before anyone nags me about
doing it in php, I might aswell just state that I know nothing
about php, nor do I have the time to learn. The method employed
here might seem more difficult to some, but it's a mere 1
minute out of your lives and hardly worth making a fuss over.
The best way to vote is to
keep this page open, open notepad and then jot down your vote
to each question like this:
1) Snakelord
2) Mithrandir
And so on. Once all questions
have been voted for, save the notepad as your main char name,
(it saves me receiving 100 text files all named Oscars), and
email it to me at snakeystew@yahoo.co.uk
You might not want to vote
for certain questions, which is your right, but I would ask
that you still jot it in notepad like this:
1) n/a or --
This ensures that you don't
forget about that question and then number everything else
wrong.
Ok, here we go. Please answer
as many as you can and email me as soon as possible.
Thnx.

Ooooh... Just before I finish,
I stumbled upon an amusing screenshot from last years Oscars.
Jotex won the worst player of 2003 and thought he'd share
this super achievement with the rest of the shard. It didn't
work out too well for him:
